Payment
Our online payment gateway is through Paypal or by Create payments. These are both safe, easy ways to pay online that uses secure payment servers. PayPal allows you to pay with credit and debit cards, you do not need a PayPal Account to use this payment method.
Telephone Orders
You can also place your order by telephone during normal office hours by calling 07906 434680. Please note that orders taken over the phone can only be sent to the card billing address.
Order Aceptance
Orders are accepted at Cathy Newell Price's sole discretion. There is no contract between us until we confirm by email. If an order placed cannot be acceped you will be notified and any payments be refunded in full. Non acceptance of an order is unlikely but may happen. It may be due to the item being discontinued, or if in the case of a "one off " item that has been sold to another customer, or the identification of a pricing or product description error on the website, or due to our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
Delivery
Jewellery in stock is usually dispatched within 2 to 3 working days of order confirmation, but at busy times this could be up to a maximum of 7 working days of order confirmation. In the unlikely event that your order is delayed we will contact you with an alternative dispatch time and the option to cancel your order. Items that are made specially for you may take up to 4 weeks before it is dispatched, this is because they may need to be sent away to the assay office for hallmarking before they are are sent to you. If you need your jewellery by a particular date please contact by phone or use the contact form and we will do what we can to help.
Please note that orders sent outside the UK will take longer to be delivered, as a general guide Western Europe 2-5 working days from dipatch, USA and Canada 5-10 working days from dispatch, Australia and New Zealand 5-10 working days from dispatch.
Shipping
All orders over £85.00 are sent out by Royal Mail Special Delivery and will require a signature on arrival. Postage and packing for orders over £50.00 is FREE within the UK. There is a £3.50 charge for orders up to £50.00. For destinartions outside the UK there is a fixed postal charge per order, see International orders section below.
International Orders
All Internatinal orders are sent by Royal Mail Airsure or International Signed For and will require a signature on delivery. It is up to the purchaser to collect any undelivered articles from the delivery service should no one be in when your parcel is delivered.
Postal charges for overseas destinations varies according to destination.
Import Regulation and Duty
If you order from this site for delivery oitside the UK you are responsible for any import duty or taxes that may be applied when the delivery reaches the destination. Please note that Cathy Newell Price Jewellery has no control over any such charges and cannot predict what they may be. Please contact your country's custom office for further information and advice before placing your order.
Decriptions of products and materials
All jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver (unless otherwise described) and is hallmarked if necessary according to English law. Some pieces have additions of gold, pearls and coloured gemstones, please note the the stones and pearls used in some pieces may vary slightly in cut and colour from the items pictured. Each piece of jewellery is unique and so there may be some slight differences from the images provided. We take all reasobable care to make sure that all details, descriptions and prices on the website are correct,
Packaging
All jewellery is sent in a gift box and packaged in such a way as to ensure it arrives in safely.
Returns Policy
We hope you will be happy with your jewellery. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will give you a full refund provided that the goods are returned unworn, in their original packaging and in the condition sent. Please check goods on delivery, faulty or damaged items can be returned, please notify us within 7 working days of receipt, and they will be replaced where possible or a full refund given. After this time we have no liability for goods said to be damaged on delivery. We cannot exchange or refund customer damaged items, but may be able to repair them. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that we are not responsible for return postage and advise that items are returned by special delivery as refunds can only be given on goods received by us, items of jewellery are only insured by Royal Mail if they are sent using the Special Delivery service.

Distance Selling Regulations
Under the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from the day after the day of receipt of the goods without giving a reason.
If your order has been confirmed, but you have not yet received the items, you can change or cancel your order Contact Us or telephone us on 07906 434680. If your order has already been dispatched, as well as notifying us that you wish to cancel you will need to return the cancelled item(s) at your own expense to the address given. We will refund the order or relevant part of it, including any original delivery charge to you if the whole order is returned as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of cancellation.
Intellectual Property
All designs on this website remain the intellectual propery of Cathy Newell Price. The material and the content of this website is for your personal (non-commercial) use only. You must not copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of the website or its content without written permission from Cathy Newell Price.
General safety
It is advisable to remove jewellery before playing sport and other physical activity. Rings should be removed before any type of manual work. It is not recommended for children to wear jewellery under the age of three. Children should be supervised at all times when wearing jewellery.
Care of jewellery
Please follow these guidelines, if in any doubt just get in touch with Cathy and she will be happy to advise on the best way to clean your jewellery.
Avoid contact with chemicals such as oils, perfumes, sprays, deodrants, creams or strong household cleaning products. Always remove your pieces of jewellery before swimming .
Silver tarnishes with time, the speed and extent depends on the wearer and conditions such as exposure to moisture and humidity.
Cleaning Silver pieces - If your pieces is made of just silver it can be dipped in a silver dip available from a jeweller's store. It's advisable to wash your pieces in warm soapy water and brushing gently with an old toothbrush before dipping for the chemical to be able to have the best effect, then rinse well before dipping into the solution. Follow the directions on the jar of silver dip. After dipping wash your piece well in warm soapy water dry gently with a soft cloth. If the piece incorporates gold, gemstones or pearls make sure that the dip is suitable.
Oxidised (Black) Silver Pieces - Do not dip your jewellery if it has an oxidised finish - if you do then the black will be removed. You can rub these pieces gently with a silver cloth to clean.
Workshops - Workshop deposits and fees are non-refundable but an alternative mutually convenient date will be arrange in the event of ill health or other circumstance such as inclement weather. Dates of workshops can be changed with at least two weeks notice.
